With the Squidoo Challenge underway I have been busy building lenses.  I don’t want to solely rely on what Squidoo will pay me for my lenses, because if I do that, I won’t be making as much as I could be.  I want to make as much as I can, so I need something else to promote from my lenses that I could make more money from.

Using Clickbank With Squidoo

Clickbank is a marketplace that has many affiliate products that someone can use to promote on their Squidoo lenses.  After signing up with Clickbank you can find an affiliate product that you like, and that relates somewhat to a lens you have, or a lens you want to make.  All you have to do is copy your Clickbank affiliate link for the product and paste it on your lens where you want to promote it.

Any time someone clicks on the link and buys it, you make a commission. How much the commission is depends on what affiliate product you are selling.

While Clickbank has a lot of affiliate products that you could sell and make money from, I think they have a lot of junk ones, and I really don’t like promoting affiliate products that I think are going to be a waste of money for the buyer.  Not all of them are bad though, there are a few good affiliate products to choose from.

For the time being I’ll be making lenses to promote Clickbank products, but I’ll also be on the lookout for other programs besides Clickbank that I can use to make money with from Squidoo.
