Squidoo is a site where people create pages called lenses about a topic such as an interest, passion, hobby, etc.  On a lens you can add ebay items, amazon items, and products from other merchants.  You can make money from revenue Squidoo earned from your lens.  Squidoo gives you a nice percentage. 

Squidoo is a great web site for two reasons especially.  

1. You can make money from your lenses.

 One of the best things about Squidoo is that they actually will pay you.  No scams, no lies, they actually will pay you.  You may not make much, but at least you will actually get the money.

2. You can use your lenses to send traffic somewhere.

How many web sites let you promote a web site of yours and pay you some money for it?  If you have a web site to promote you can make a lens to promote it.  If your lens makes Squidoo some money, you get some money.

 So how much can someone make on Squidoo?

I have read that some people on Squidoo are making $20 a month, others $100 a month, $300 a month, and someone claimed they were making $1000 a month.

Is it possible? I’m not sure.  You can use Squidoo to advertise affiliate programs, so I could see that if someone had several popular lenses they could make good money from affiliate products. I don’t see how someone could make $1000 a month just from what Squidoo pays, but maybe it is possible.
