I have been told that it is always a good idea to test your web site or blog in different browsers and even computers, to see how it displays.  Sometimes you may find that your site displays correctly in one browser, but not in another.

I have just created this design and tested it in Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer on my computer, and it displayed perfectly in all of them besides Opera.  The border doesn’t display correctly in Opera.

Recently I tried my web site from a friends computer using Internet Explorer.  While my blog displayed fine on my computer using Internet Explorer, I found that it did not display right on my friends computer.

It is always wise to test your site on several different browsers and computers.  You want to make sure it displays properly and provides an equal experience for all of the browsers (at least the popular ones).
