Today the contest between TheBillevard.com and I begins. It will start today and go until March 19th.
What is the contest?
The contest is going to be to see who can make the most money from Squidoo.
For anyone that doesn’t know what Squidoo is, it is a site where anyone can sign up and make pages (called lenses) about a topic of their choice. Squidoo makes it easy to earn money from your lenses, and lets you add ebay, amazon, cafepress, and other “modules” that you can make money from. You can also earn from advertising from Google Adsense ads that Squidoo places around your lens. The more visitors you get to your lenses, the more likely you are to make more money.
While Squidoopays you some money, you can make even more from Squidoo lenses if you use them to promote outside affiliate products. Many of the top lensmasters use this to make hundreds of dollars per month from Squidoo.
I have a jump on The Billevard, because I have 31 lenses to his 11, but my 31 lenses aren’t very profitable at all right now, and they have MUCH room for improvement. One of his lenses have been more profitable for him than all of my 31 combined.
