Whew. I’ve put in about 17 hours and 40 minutes into answering questions on ChaCha. Which has made me $32.80.

So, my earnings per hour is abysmal, but I am hoping to change that!  It is said that guides average $3-$8 an hour, some even more than that.  Personally I want to get to the point where I am making at least $8 an hour for my time spent on ChaCha.

First though, I have to achieve top guide status by answering 200 questions with a 95% completion rate, and a 95% quality score.  If I get top guide status from this week’s work, next week I’ll make 20 cents per answered question.  Getting top guide status is the ONLY way I’d be able to make $8 an hour from ChaCha.

Ideally I only want to be doing ChaCha for an hour and 20 minutes a day, and complete 40 searches a day.  My goal for tomorrow is to get my time spent answering a question down to an average of 2 minutes per search.  I’ve had plenty of practice so far, so I think I’m finally past the learning curve!

So far I am enjoying answering questions on ChaCha! I’ve learned a lot of random information, although some of the questions I received were extremely vulgar.  Generally though, it has been fun seeing what question pops up next!
