What does a Kung-Fu wannabe do when they want to master the art of Kung-Fu?  They learn from a Kung-Fu master.

Lets pretend I’m dropped off in the woods at point A with a map but without a compass, and I am trying to get to point B. I know that the shortest distance is a straight line, but without a compass, I can’t figure out that straight line.  Without a compass I’ll end up wandering around.  I may manage to get there sooner or later, but I know that the journey could have been much shorter if I had a compass to guide me.

I like to think that that is how it is when a person is trying to build a business or make money online.  If you want to learn how to build for example, a successful web site, it would be a great idea to look at successful web sites and to see what they did to get their site to that level.  If you want to get there the fastest learn from the best in your field.  If you learn their secrets to their success and how they did it, it can help you achieve success faster and get you from point A to point B sooner and more efficiently.

With this in mind, one of the first things I am going to do in my Squidoo Challenge is to learn how a successful lensmaster on Squidoo became successful.  How they got there, what tactics they used, what they know that I don’t, etc.  I hope to learn everything that will get me from A to B as fast as possible.
