I&#039;m not a licensed legal professional, but I am certain that you can add a web site&#039;s link to your directory without permission.

If directories had to ask a web site for permission to add their link to their directory, then I imagine all web sites would have to as well.

That would cause a giant headache with all the emails, phone calls, and communication being done with everyone asking eachother if they could add the other&#039;s link to their web site.

I&#039;m glad that isn&#039;t the case. It makes writing on this blog much easier.  

On the internet, you and I, and everyone else can freely link to whoever, no permission necessary.
