I’m not a licensed legal professional, but I am certain that you can add a web site’s link to your directory without permission.

If directories had to ask a web site for permission to add their link to their directory, then I imagine all web sites would have to as well.

That would cause a giant headache with all the emails, phone calls, and communication being done with everyone asking eachother if they could add the other’s link to their web site.

I’m glad that isn’t the case. It makes writing on this blog much easier.

On the internet, you and I, and everyone else can freely link to whoever, no permission necessary.
